Housing and meal plan fees are dependent on a student’s assigned housing location. Housing and meal plan rates are set in weekly increments and students arriving or leaving mid-week will not have their housing/meal plan prorated. Summer Term housing assignments require minimum meal plans. Students living in apartments will be automatically assigned the Summer Spider Plus. Students living in the residence hall will be automatically assigned the Summer Spider Ten. All students may elect to upgrade their meal plans by contacting OneCard services at (804) 289-8010. Billing weeks run Sunday through Saturday nights for housing and meal plan eligibility runs Monday breakfast through dinner the Sunday of departure.
Commuting Students: Mini Flex
The Summer Mini Flex is designed for students commuting to campus. This plan provides $70 Dining Dollars per week to be used for discount meals at the Heilman Dining Center or for tax free purchases at the other Dining Services retail locations.
Law School Students: Summer Flex
Law students living in the law dorm are automatically assigned the Summer Flex, (8-week). The plan provides an average of $15.53 a day in Dining Dollars for the entire 8 weeks. Dining Dollars may be used for discounted meals at the Heilman Dining Center or at other Diining Services retail locations. Law students may upgrade to the Summer Spider 15 or Summer Spider 10 for more meals and Dining Dollars.
