UR Summer Fellowships

UR Summer Fellowships build on a strong foundation of summer research grants and University-supported internship experiences across several programs. Through the seven different programs that make up the UR Summer Fellowship program, more than 200 students each summer have the opportunity to pursue a research project or internship that fits their passion.

Each of the internship programs provides living stipends for students who pursue an unpaid or low-paid internship that connects their academic work to the professional world. Arts & Sciences and Jepson Summer Research Grants support research opportunities for students from those schools, while Spider Research Fellowships are available to support faculty-mentored research for any full-time undergraduate at Richmond.
