Important
Students must be enrolled in a course before room and board will be approved.

Roommate preferences must be complete and pay for their housing no later than April 27, 2009 for Four Week I, 8 Week and 10 Week Combo terms, and May 29, 2009 for Four Week II and 6 Week II terms.

A late fee of $50 will be charged to applications not received by the April 27, 2009 and/or May 29, 2009 deadlines.

Payment Options

1. Cash or Check - Make checks payable to University of Richmond.

2. On-line by visiting BannerWeb (http://bannerweb.richmond.edu) and clicking on Student Services/Payment of Tuition and Fees/Payment of Tuition and Fees.  You can pay by credit card using MasterCard, American Express, or Discover or you can pay by e-check.  If you have a hold on your account, the hold will not be released until the next business day.  If you have any questions, please call Student Accounts at 807-289-8147 or toll free at 866-241-8893.

Tuition payment is due by the first day of term. Room and Meal payments are due with Room and Board Application.

No credit is given for a term's work nor a degree conferred until all charges have been satisfactorily settled. Failure to make satisfactory financial arrangements can result in delay of graduation, denial of registration privileges, removal from classes, withholding of transcripts and/or referral to a collection agency or attorney.

If the University deems it necessary to engage the services of a collection agency or attorney to collect or to settle any dispute in connection with an unpaid balance on a student account, the student will be liable for all collection agency and/or attorney's fees, reasonable expenses and costs incurred. Accounts referred to a collection agency are reported to a credit bureau(s).

Refunds

If a student withdraws from classes or is dropped from the University for whatever cause, a refund of tuition and class fees shall be made in accordance with the following schedule. Refunds are made first to any financial program the student may be receiving, then to any University unsettled account, and then to the student.

There are no refunds given for summer housing and meal plans.

For classes that meet for 4 weeks:

Withdrawal on or before the first day of term

Withdrawal during the second week of term

Withdrawal after the second week of term

For classes that meet for 6 weeks:
Withdrawal on or before the first day of term

For classes that meet for 8 & 10 weeks:
Withdrawal on or before the first day of term
