General Information
Semester charges (General Fee, Fees and Room & Board costs) for Undergraduates and Law School are due in full as follows:
- Fall Semester bills are due the 1st Monday in August
- Spring Semester bills are due the 1st Monday in December
- Summer Semester bills are due the 1st day of each term
Fall and Spring semester charges for School of Continuing Studies, MBA, and Graduate School are expected by the end of the first week of the terms. Summer term payment is due by the first day of term.
Billing statements are sent to your University of Richmond e-mail address. You can also sign up an authorized user to receive a copy of the invoice.

The Tuition Refund Plan
The University of Richmond has contracted with Dewar Inc. to provide a tuition refund plan. You protect your tuition and fees should your student be hurt or become ill and not be able to complete the semester. The Tuition Refund Plan will alleviate if not eliminate your financial loss. If you withdraw from classes because of a personal illness or accident, this plan will return:
100% of your insured term tuition and fees, or
60% of your insured term tuition and fees if the withdrawal results from a mental/nervous disorder.

Credit Card
You can now pay your student account balance on-line by visiting BannerWeb (http://bannerweb.richmond.edu) and clicking on Student Services/Payment of Tuition and Fees/Payment of Tuition and Fees. You can pay by credit card using MasterCard, American Express, or Discover or you can pay by e-check. If you have a hold on your account, the hold will not be released until the next business day. Deferred Payment Plan Offered to Undergraduates and Law Students
If a deferred payment plan is desired, the University of Richmond has arranged to make available the services of the TuitionPay Plan through Sallie Mae. They offer a payment schedule of ten equal payments for the academic year. The first payment is due in June, with the next four payments paying for the Fall semester. The remaining five payments pay for the Spring semester. Information is mailed to the students from this company in April of each year. A brochure is available upon request from the Office of Student Accounts.

No credit is given for a term's work nor a degree conferred until all charges have been satisfactorily settled. Failure to make satisfactory financial arrangements can result in delay of graduation, denial of registration privileges, removal from classes, withholding of transcripts and/or referral to a collection agency or attorney.
If the University deems it necessary to engage the services of a collection agency or attorney to collect or to settle any dispute in connection with an unpaid balance on a student account, the student will be liable for all collection agency and/or attorney's fees, reasonable expenses and costs incurred. Accounts referred to a collection agency are reported to a credit bureau(s).
SpiderCard Payments
Your Spidercard can pay small balances of $100.00 or less owed on your student account. The maximum amount that your Spidercard can pay towards your student account in one month is $200.00
